About the Author
Fillia (1904-1936) was the pseudonym of Luigi Colombo, an Italian artist and writer associated with the second generation of Futurism. After establishing the Futurist movement in Turin in 1923 at the age of 19, he went on to co-author the Manifesto della cucina futurista with F. T. Marinetti, and engage in theatre, poetry and painting. His works of fiction are: La morte della donna (1925), L’ultimo sentimentale (1927), and L’uomo senza sesso (1927).
